It was a fairly quiet weekend at the box office but Hidden Figures remained at the top spot after bringing in $20.5 million and raising its total domestic gross to just under $55 million.

Positive reviews from the critics have helped this film hold a steady audience. Second place goes to La La Land, which is up three spots after bringing in $14.5 million and passing $70 million domestically. The film swept the Golden Globes and is expected to receive several Oscar nominations, reports Box Office Mojo.

Sing finished in third place with $14.2 million and has passed $230 million domestically. Rogue One: A Star Wars Story fell to fourth place with $13.8 million and is now the highest grossing release of 2016. The film currently has grossed $498.9 million after 31 days.

The new releases of the weekend all finished in the top 10. The Bye Bye Man finished in fifth place with a $13.4 million opening weekend. Monster Trucks finished in seventh place with $10.5 million and Jamie Foxx’s new film Sleepless finished in eighth place with $8.3 million.

Underworld: Blood Wars saw a 58 percent drop during its second weekend and brought in $5.8 million. Passengers rounds out the top 10 with $5.6 million and has passed $90 million domestically. Live by Night did a poor job of delivering after expanding to wide release and only brought in $5.4 million; missing out on the top 10.

It is going to be tough for Hidden Figures to retain the top spot with four new releases coming next weekend including the new M. Night Shyamalan thriller Split and Vin Diesel as Xander Cage in the sequel xXx: The Return of Xander Cage.
