They don't call the Grammy Awards "Music's Biggest Night" for nothing.

The first wave of Grammy performers were announced Wednesday, Jan. 18 and they include 10-time Grammy winner John Legend, eight-time winners Metalica, seven-time winner Carrie Underwood and four-time winner Keith Urban are going to take the stage at the ceremony, as reported by Billboard.

E! News noted that today it was announced that Adele would also be joining the line up.  A 10-time winner herself, the songstress is nominated for five more awards this year, including Record of the Year ("Hello"), Song of the Year ("Hello"), Best Pop Solo Performance ("Hello), Best Pop Vocal Album (25) and Album of the Year (25).

At last year's Grammys, Adele experience technical difficulties during her performance.  She acted like a professional, but later told Ellen DeGeneres that she "cried pretty much all day" about the performance.  Hopefully, this time around, Adele will not have to go through a similar problem.

More performers will be announced at a later date.

The Late Late Show's James Corden will host the 2017 Grammys which will air on CBS at 8/7c p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 12 live from the Staples Center in Los Angeles.
