“EVERYDAY” repeats the verse “I still think of you, everyday” and follows the same beat all the way through. Produced by GrindKId, “EVERYDAY” shows a range in Nicole’s voice. To an extent, she embodies a style similar to The Weeknd.
The instrumental in the background is simple, and compliments the iridescent tone in her and her companion’s voice. Her voice expresses longing, nostalgia, and yearning for a partner who is a thing of the past. Which is extremely relatable for people who experience adversity in their relationships. Alexis Nicole is a young and motivated singer/songwriter. According her website, Nicole started her musical career as a member of her hometown church in Richmond, Virginia. Not only does she want her listeners to experience her music, but also she wants to take them on a journey to give them perspective into her life. Her passion is music, which she hopes to use to connect with her listeners.
