Sorry, ladies! Sam Hunt is off the market as he just got engaged to girlfriend Hannah Lee Fowler.
Hunt's rep simply stated, “Sam and Hannah are engaged.”
Despite his thematic break-up album, Montevallo (named after Fowler's hometown), the 32-year-old and Fowler got back together before the media caught wind of them in Hawaii.
While the country singer has remained quiet about their relationship, he hasn't shied away from shelling out the details through his music.
In his new song, “Drinkin' Too Much,” Hunt acknowledges his fault for putting his lady love in the spotlight.
“I’m sorry I named the album Montevallo / I’m sorry people know your name now and strangers hit you up on social media / I’m sorry you can’t listen to the radio / I know you want your privacy / You’ve got nothing to say to me,” Hunt sings. “But I wish you’d let me pay off your student loans with these songs you gave to me.”
Obviously, the new song won Fowler over. Hunt even admitted that he should have credited her with the songs from the debut album, because he took a lot of time talking to her about them.
