At least we know one Bachelor couple is still going strong!
Just over one year after the Bachelor frontman got down on one-knee, fiance Lauren Bushnell took to social media to show love for her man on his birthday. The sweet picture of the two snuggling up next to a horse in front of a scenic background also serves to reaffirm the couple's continued love after reports of trouble in paradise.
“Happy birthday babe!!!!!” the captain reads. “I’m so thankful for this life together. Although sometimes rocky you always hold my hand and support me through it, always with a smile on your face. You deserve the world, especially today. ????????.”
The 29-year-old software salesman from Warsaw, Indiana, proposed to Bushnell after choosing her over eventual season 12 Bachelorette JoJo Fletcher. Questions regarding the couple's stability popped up immediately, since the premise of Higgins' season largely revolved around his love for both Bushnell and Fletcher. Hopefully the post is an indication of more happy times ahead for the couple and maybe even a televised wedding soon?
