Reese Witherspoon has been named the "storyteller-in-chief" for Elizabeth Arden. The actress will direct the narrative for the brand's campaigns and marketing department.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the role drew the Big Little Lies star because of Elizabeth Arden's legacy.

"One of the first things that drew me to the brand was its rich heritage and history of supporting women," stated Reese. "As one of the first female entrepreneurs, Elizabeth Arden paved the way for women like me. It's an honor to carry on her legacy and be part of such an iconic company that is committed to serving women."
Using her platform, Reese will focus on telling stories, focusing on women with careers. In addition to social media ads and digital campaigns, there will be visual ads in stores, featuring the Academy Award winner in May.
Elizabeth Arden's president, Jue Wong, also released a statement on the announcement:
"Reese exemplifies the ideals of our founder and continues to break boundaries every day. Like Elizabeth Arden before her, Reese does not accept the standard; she sets it, making her the perfect person to represent the brand and engage with our consumers globally."
Along with developing her Draper James clothing line, the mother of three founded Hello Sunshine, a company promoting stories driven by women.
