In the latest episode of Criminal Minds, the team looked into the case of three victims who were found tied to poles in the desert. It appeared to them the unsub was focusing on recent college graduates who had been spotlighted in the media. However, as the case moved further along, they realized there was more to the case than they originally imagined.
Meanwhile, Tara sits out on the case when a lead on Mr. Scratch has Emily asking her to do another cognitive interview on Reid. They are hoping that if they can jog his memory some more on the night of the murder, then Mr. Scratch will be placed on a watch list.
However, Reid has been dealing with the feelings of guilt he had in his role in poisoning the prisoners. He doesn’t even want to see anyone but he agrees after Tara prods him to do the interview. When she is able to get a breakthrough, it leads to a twist no one could have imagined.
