Kim Kardashian has given her first interview since the Paris robbery.

Whether it makes you happy or deeply depressed, it's very obvious the reality star has kept a low profile since the incident.

Well, prepare yourself for this interview because there is a break down and some tears involved.

The mother of two appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres show Thursday and told the host that it was all "meant to happen."

"I know it sounds crazy, but I know that was meant to happen to me. I don't want to start crying, but I know it was meant to happen. I really feel like things happen in your life to teach you things and I feel like I'm such a different person."

The 36-year-old included that the experience made her "less materialistic" and that it changed the way she uses social media. If you follow the star on Instagram you can tell she has become much less showy of her jewels, expensive cars and fancy clothes.

Most of her posts now consist of her two children, North and Saint West.

"I'm so happy my kids get this me, that this is who I am raising my kids," she said.

Although tragic, she did admit it could have been "way worse" and that she is ready to "move on."
