Matt Damon's family took a vacation to Australia with Chris Hemsworth and his family this week but things down under got pretty scary when Damon's 6-year-old daughter, Stella, was attacked by jellyfish.

The Courier Mail reported that the little girl was swimming and playing in waters of Byron Bay when suddenly she began screaming and running ashore.

Damon, who was vacationing with the Hemsworths at their estate in New South Wales, ran to a cafe to get ice for Stella. He and his wife, Luciana Barroso, then began comforting the youngster while they waited for paramedics to arrive. Stella was treated at the scene for the jellyfish sting and the families decided to leave the beach after that.

Prior to Stella's injury, they all seemed to be having a great time together. They were spotted dining out at local restaurants and riding horses along the ocean.

We're glad Stella is okay and perhaps they will bring some vinegar with them on their next beach excursion.
