After a few trailers and teasers, audiences have now seen what Orlando Bloom’s character Will Tuner will look like in the new Pirates of the Caribbean movie titled Dead Men Tell No Tales.

The last we saw of Will Turner was just after he took command of the Flying Dutchman in At Worlds End. This meant that he was cursed to sail the sea for eternity, ferrying the souls of the dead to the afterlife.

Now, Will Turner has returned and it has been announced that Brenton Thwaites will be playing his son, Henry Turner. In a quick moment from the new trailer, audiences see what looks like Henry and Will being reunited.

There’s only one problem. Will Turner’s face is completely covered in what can only described as barnacle acne. In the previous films, Davy Jones, the former captain of the Dutchman, had octopus tentacles protruding from his face. Jones’s tentacle beard was a result of not obeying the laws of the curse and abandoning his post at sea.

Since the curse was supposed to be broken when Will took the job, his barnacle face can only mean one thing. Something has gone seriously wrong on the Dutchman!

Guess we will just have to wait to see.

Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales hits theaters on May 26.
