The Boss Baby remained box office champion for the second week in a row after holding off Beauty and the Beast.

Boss Baby brought in $26.3 million to push its total domestic gross to just under $90 million. The film only saw a 48 percent drop and it still looks to be on pace to finish around $175 million domestically reports Box Office Mojo.

Beauty and the Beast finished in second place for the second straight week with $25 million and has now grossed $432.3 million after 24 days. The film ranks 15th on the all-time domestic grossing list and should remain in the top five for another week.

The new releases were fairly quiet this week as Smurfs: The Lost Village came in third place with $14 million. Going in Style came in fourth place with $12.5 million. Both films received positive reviews which should help them maintain some decent success over the coming weeks.

Ghost in the Shell dropped to fifth place with $7.3 million and just passed $30 million domestically. This is very disappointing, especially with a budget of $110 million. Power Rangers came in sixth place with $6.2 million and is closing in 0n $80 million domestically. I still think it has a chance to pass $100 million domestically.

Seventh through ninth places included Kong: Skull Island ($5.8 million), Logan ($4.1 million) and Get Out ($4 million). The Case for Christ rounds out the top 10 with $3.9 million performance during its opening weekend.

Next weekend will see the opening of The Fate of the Furious which is predicated to be the second film of 2017 to have an opening weekend over $100 million and has potential to have one of the best April opening weekends.
