Ariel Winter is clapping back at those who slammed her for wearing a body-hugging, revealing gold dress to a Modern Family screening while her castmates dressed casual.
Haters blasted the actress, who is a body-positive advocate, after a picture of her and the rest of the show's cast from an event on Wednesday, May 3, circulated online.

However, Winter has never been one to back down from internet trolls and she wasn't going to start now. So she took to Instagram with a message for those who said her attire was inappropriate.
In the post, she questioned why she should dress like everyone else and ended by writing, “WEAR WHATEVER YOU WANT PEOPLE! As long as you feel good about yourself that’s what matters. I know I did. Don’t ever let anyone stifle who you are and how you express yourself. Rant over.”
Her style choice for the screening is similar to many of the outfits she's been seen wearing lately anyway so this particular dress isn't anything new. And something else that isn't new is every time haters come at her, Ariel will be sure to clap back.
