The MTV Movie & TV Awards were held last night and featured some amazing new categories, in addition to genderless categories - the very first awards show to do so. After an odd opening number that tapped Beauty and the Beast way too hard and let Josh Gad steal the limelight from Adam DeVine, Emma Watson 'made history' by becoming the first actor to receive MTV's genderless awards.
Other awesome moments came when Moonlight won for Best Kiss, Millie Bobby Brown (Stranger Things) won for Best Actor on TV, Dafne Keen (Logan) pushed Hugh Jackman around on stage and Taraji P. Henson (Hidden Figures) became our hero on paper as well as in spirit.
Is anyone else hearing Beyonce singing, "Who runs the world... GIRLS!"?
