Let's be honest, Jake Paul has not been kind to 2017, yet he's the one currently feeling slighted.

The former Bizaardvark actor was fired from Disney, fought with his neighbors and had a major battle with big bro Logan via YouTube posts.

And now, the Los Angeles police and fire departments are demanding he get permits before he does any filming in his house.

Here's the timeline of what went down:

Public fighting with big bro Logan has been going on from earlier in the summer. They both talk trash, make up, then talk more trash. Staged? Maybe. Attention grabbing for fans? Absolutely.

On July 19 Jake's neighbors called in complaints about the attention he brings to the previously quiet neighborhood, from the crowds to the an out of control fire in an empty backyard pool. This made the local news where the 20-year-old dismissed questions from reporters with a dab after climbing all over the equipment.

Despite the on-camera antics, Jake did make several statements to his fans and is truly frustrated by the issues. He told Hollywood Reporter that the continuing issues are not his fault.  "I have made multiple videos telling fans not to come to our house," he says. "I feel like a zoo animal."

Disney is known for having a very strict family friendly agreements and Jake's vlogs were already rubbing execs wrong before the complaints and media coverage of his antics. On July 24 Disney decided Jake was no longer a fit for their brand and began work on terminating his agreement with them.

According to Jake, "[Disney] basically called me and were like, 'Yo, what's going on, what's going on?' And I just explained the situation, and they were like, 'OK. We want to expedite this process of weaning you off the show.' And I was like, 'Yeah, that's fine. But it's going to look like you guys fired me.' And they were like, 'We can say that we mutually parted ways and blah, blah, blah.' And that's the reality of the story."

In the meantime the community he lives in did file official complaints and as of Aug. 23 he cannot film at the home location without permits. This will obviously be a issue for the YouTuber, but probably not for long.

At least he's got his big brother back on his team.
