One Tree Hill actress and country singer, Jana Kramer released her new single, ‘I’ve Done Love' Friday.
Kramer, who often sings of love and its complexities and is famous for hits like, ‘Why You Wanna' and ‘I Got the Boy,' examines relationships from a much edgier perspective on ‘I’ve Done Love.'
Comparing relationships to addictions, Kramer is getting high off love rather than actual drugs. She sings, "Just 'cause I don't wake up with a bottle/And my blood don't know the fire of cocaine/Just 'cause my skin don't know the sting of a needle/That don't mean that I don't know the pain[...]So don't tell me I've never done the hard stuff/Cause I've done love."
Paired with electric guitar and drums as background instruments and Kramer’s raspy, twang-filled vocals, ‘I’ve Done Love' is as country as it is edgy.
Prior to its release, Kramer teased snippets of ‘I’ve Done Love' on social media to her fans.
According to Sounds Like Nashville, ‘I’ve Done Love' is Kramer’s "first independent single release."
The track was written by famed Nashville songwriters, Nicolle Galyon, Shane McAnally, and Josh Osborne.
