The second season of the Emmy-winning show Stranger Things is set to be released in T-minus 35 days. Honestly, we're not sure if we can wait that long. The marketing campaign has been nearly flawless so far, as Netflix has delivered on great trailers and a series of memorable posters inspired by 1980’s pop-culture:
Matt and Ross Duffer, brothers, are the ones we have to thank for this nostalgic-themed property. During Emmy night, the show-runners were asked by Entertainment Tonight what fans should expect out of season 2, and while not many plot details may have been revealed, they were kind enough to grace us with a list of films that we should watch prior to the release of the new season.
The list of '70s and '80s classics includes:

Ghostbusters - 1984

Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom - 1984
Admittedly, we’ve already seen all these movies, but they are all a lot of fun and the race to re-watch them before we return to the world of the upside-down starts now.

The new season of Stranger Things will be released exclusively to Netflix on Oct. 27. This time around, we’ll focus on Will Byers (Noah Schnapp) and what he’s experiencing after returning from his experience of nearly being killed by the Demogorgon. We’ll also see Will’s friends — Mike (Finn Wolfhard), Dustin (Gaten Matarazzo) and Lucas (Caleb McLaughlin) — return, as well as Ego-Waffle’s number one fan Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown).
