It's hard to imagine one of the couples that epitomize our relationship goals not working out, but that's almost how it went down for John Legend and Chrissy Teigen.
The two met back in 2007 when a music video director brought them together for Legend's song "Stereo." He recalls the day they met:
“It was this one-on-one video of just me and a girl, and she’s my love interest in the video. We spent the whole day dancing together, grinding together. And, uh, we made a music video.”
Legend told The Guardian that he tried breaking up with Teigen early on in the relationship. He said to her, "I’d just be happier single right now."
To which she said no.
The duo was back together in less than 30 minutes.
Legend and Teigen married in Italy in 2013 and have daughter Luna, 16 months, together and are trying for baby number two.
