Michael Rooker, star of Guardians of the Galaxy and The Walking Dead, showed up unannounced at Marvel Studios, dressed as his title character of Yondu, walking around and talking to various employees.

The video is pretty lengthy, but it’s worth the watch if you have time:

Or just watch one of the highlights that Jeff Harper — employee of Marvel — posted to Twitter:

The video shows Rooker take pictures with various employees, humorously talk to a cut-out poster of Doctor Strange and make jabs at other Marvel characters.

Rooker’s character of Yondu appears in the first two Guardians of the Galaxy films, being an outlaw with a secret heart of gold. Guardians of the Galaxy: Volume 2 is now available on blu-ray and streaming. As Rooker says in the video, “It has over 80 minutes of extras. That means 70 minutes of that is me.”

Why did Michael Rooker take the time to do all the make-up and walk around Marvel studios for half-an-hour? We’re not entirely sure. Maybe he was in the middle of filming something secretive or maybe he just thought it sounded like fun. Whatever the reason is, we love him for it.
