The Marvel Universe wouldn't be what it is today without Stan Lee. The former editor-in-chief has helped turned the classic Marvel comics into a worldwide phenomenon.

Stan Lee has millions of fans and one of them also happens to be Leonardo DiCaprio. Lee revealed the Oscar-winning actor was a huge fan and would love to play in a film about Lee's life.

Stan Lee's manager Max Anderson discussed an interaction between DiCaprio and Lee where DiCaprio revealed he is a huge Marvel fan and has giant posters on his walls. The two also happen to be neighbors which has resulted in several conversations about this idea.

Stan Lee even went on to talk about a project the two of them had been discussing:

"Doing a movie of my life, with him playing me, and I said, 'I'm not sure you're good-looking enough. We'll test you, see how you look, see how it comes out, don't get too excited, we'll let you know."

Lee has done so much for Marvel and comics in general throughout his career which is evidence that they would have plenty of material for DiCaprio to use in this potential biopic.

The rumor going around is that this could potentially lead to another Marvel vs. DC rivalry. As we reported, Warner Bros. has shown some interest in tapping DiCaprio to portray the Joker in an origin story that would have Martin Scorsese producing. It will be interesting to see which side DiCaprio chooses.
