Zoe, a victim of bullying herself, started the project at age 5 because she wanted to “start a company that gives free brown dolls to little brown girls in need at Christmas time.”
According to the Zoe's Dolls website, Zoe has given out approximately $20,000 in dolls, donations, contest and free community events and has impacted the lives of over 4,000 girls in South Florida, Georgia, Texas, Mississippi, Haiti and Africa, with new chapters opening soon.

What is her mission? Her website states, "My mission is to aid in disaster relief. To directly support the victims left with nothing in the wake of a natural disaster. Currently, I do this by sending care packages built, and designed around the needs of a specific families or communities.
The now 14-year-old Andrew Dunn began his Random Acts of Kindness Louisville movement at age 10 "to flood this city of Louisville with random acts of kindness and epic acts of service."

In addition to the kids being honored, country music superstar Kelly Clarkson will receive the HALO Hall of Fame for her work with a number of charities including XQ Super School Donor’s Choose Harvey Fund; Miracle on Broadway, March of Dimes and Musicians on Call.
Cannon who serves as host, creator, and executive producer for the show this year, said of Clarkson, “Kelly Clarkson is this year’s HALO Hall of Fame recipient because she truly embraces this idea. She recognizes the desire in all of us to help where we can and has impacted countless people with her philanthropic contributions.”
