Maria Menounos has been very busy of late. She is happily working on her new Sirius XM radio show Conversations with Maria Menounos and is in newlywed bliss with hubby Keven Undergaro whom she wed on the frigid New Year’s Eve 2017 in Times Square, with Steve Harvey officiating the ceremony.
This Sunday, April 1, she's doing something she loves - participating in the Second Annual Beverly Hills Dog Show that is sponsored by Purina and will air on USA Network at 6/5 p.m. central.
Maria Menounos, who is known for her work as an entertainment journalist on E! and acting, as well as being a wrestler with WWE and her appearance on 14th season of Dancing with the Stars, is encouraging dog owners to join the Every Dog is a Star Movement, that benefits Mutt-i-grees, a program that helps children learn the positive impact of having pets.
According to the Beverly Hills Dog show:
“Dog owners are encouraged to log onto Facebook, Twitter or Instagram to post photos or videos showing how their dog is the true star of the family. For every original post submitted between March 26-April 8, using the hashtag #BHDogShow and tagging @Purina, they will donate five dollars (up to $25,000) to Mutt-i-grees, a program run by North Shore Animal League America that helps show children the positive impact pets can have on their lives through interaction with shelter dogs. The funds will be used to help expand the program to more schools around the country.”
Maria Menounos spoke with Michelle Tompkins for The Celebrity Café about her very cold New Year's Eve wedding, her upcoming projects, what’s going on with her role with WWE, what is new with her podcast network AfterBuzz TV, her favorite Greek dishes, what she likes to do for fun, her love of dogs, her role in the upcoming Beverly Hills Dog Show by Purina, why people should participate in the Every Dog is a Star movement, what is Mutt-i-grees and more.
