The 27-year-old is extremely popular, racking up over 10,231,500 subscribers and has over 700 videos.
Wassabi is a finalist for Vlogger of the Year in the 10th Annual Shorty Awards.
His content in 2017 took off with vlogging about his romantic vacation, fellow online personality LaurDIY, happily cataloging the excitement of their trip.
From there Wassabi documented Lauren, Guppy (their adorable pug puppy, with a colorful cast of guests who've been with Alex to make awesome humorous tunes, accomplish challenges, like the Gummy Tongue Challenge, which has over 10 million views, and The Kool-Aid Packet Challenge, which has over 1,400,000 views.
This is all set up against the backdrop of an enjoyable life where good things happen. He vlogs and motivates people while also being about his family. His brothers Aaron and Andrew, both have followed his example and have become YouTube stars. In fact, he literally hands his parents a mansion. One word. Awesome!
