Fast & Furious has a new way to race with supercharged roadsters
The Fast & Furious — SuperchargedTM ride has been in a soft opening for a week, but as of today, everyone who visits the theme park will be able to get in on the fun.
In a press release from Universal, fans of the series will be able to:
- Join up with the Fast crew as they feel what it’s like to step into their favorite Fast & Furious film.
- Immerse themselves in an authentic recreation of the Fast & Furious crew’s warehouse headquarters – filled with actual props, iconic scenes, authentic details and supercharged vehicles from the films.
- Ride with the family and crew as the films’ soundtracks pump, vehicles flip, rockets fire – and the action builds.
- And check out more than a dozen of the supercharged cars from the films – including some of the ones driven by their favorite character.
The experience will be using the new Universal Virtual Line system, allowing users to select a time to ride either on the app or at a kiosk.
On May 2, 2018, there will be a special event in the park featuring several stars from the iconic Fast & Furious series.

For those not familiar, Fast & Furious is a film series that talks about illegal street racing that came out in 2001. A racer named Dom and his crew are under suspicion for stealing expensive electronic equipment by hijacking moving trucks. An undercover cop tries to figure out who is really taking this equipment. Having romantic feelings for Dom’s sister, the undercover cop Brian tells her that she must come with him to save her brother and his friends from truck drivers who are now ready to combat these robberies.
