Bangs rule the day in season 2 of the hit HBO show
Meryl Streep has Nicole Kidman to thank for debuting her new do on her Instagram page on April 5, for the upcoming season of Big Little Lies.
Last January, fans of the award-winning hit series Big Little Lies were delighted when it was announced that Streep would be joining the cast as Mary Louise Wright, the mother-in-law of Celeste who is played by Kidman.
Kidman posted a sweet note to commemorate the beginning of filming with Streep.
"First day on the set with Meryl and “my” darling boys! #BigLittleLies."
Both characters are shown with bangs. While Streep is shown with a brown bob with wispy bangs, Kidman has very thick auburn bangs.
Vanity Fair reported that Streep's Mary Louise may actually be a villain in this upcoming season she may not like being confronted by the fact that her son, Perry was not only an abusive racist, but Celeste was not so innocent regarding his demise.
Streep and Kidman previously starred together in the award-winning film from 2010 The Hours.
Meryl Streep and the rest of the cast will continue filming Big Little Lies for the next couple of weeks, but season 2 is set to air sometime in 2019.
