Jennifer Nettles and Kristian Bush, the country duo better known as Sugarland, released a new single, “Babe” Friday.

The song, which is set to appear on their upcoming album, Bigger, was given to the pair by Taylor Swift. In addition to having written the track with Train’s Pat Monahan, Swift is also featured, singing background vocals.

A breakup song, “Babe” describes the end of a relationship after the guy is caught cheating. Sad, but upbeat, “Babe” is built on both country and pop influences from the guitar runs to Nettles’ twang to the echo effect used on Swift’s voice throughout the chorus.

Coupled with lyrics like “Since you admitted it, I keep picturing/Her lips on your neck, I can’t unsee it” and “You really blew this, babe,” the song is emotional, vulnerable, and tender.

Sugarland will kick off their “Still the Same” tour on May 25 and will release Bigger on June 8. Taylor Swift will begin her Reputation Stadium Tour on May 8.
