Avengers: Infinity War had the biggest opening weekend of all time in box offices all around the world, clocking $250 million in North America and $380 million elsewhere, grossing $630 million worldwide. Quite a reason for the cast of Marvel’s “most ambitious project in history” to be on cloud nine… Isn’t it?

But there are some mean tweets which brought them back to earth.

The film’s enormous cast featured in the Jimmy Kimmel Live’s recent iteration of “Celebrities Read Mean Tweets” series: The Avengers edition on Monday night.

The stars of Avengers: Infinity War read mean tweets that Kimmel’s team scavenged from the internet. Stars including Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson, Samuel L. Jackson, Chadwick Boseman, Chris Pratt, Tom Hiddleston, Tom Holland, Anthony Mackie, Benedict Cumberbatch, Paul Bettany, Winston Duke, Paul Rudd, Dave Bautista, Sebastian Stan, Elizabeth Olsen and Karen Gillan participated in the segment.

Tom Hiddleston is so f***ing ugly, why is no one acknowledging this,” the actor who plays the role of Loki read aloud.

The Dr. Strange actor read, “Benedict Cumberbatch always looks like he’s had an allergic reaction to bad shrimp.”

A special mention goes to the mean tweet about Samuel L. Jackson who apparently resembles a snapping turtle. What do you think?
