Supergirl season 3 comes to an end Monday, June 18, so while we enjoy the rest of the season, let’s take a look back at what happened so far.
Supergirl has been wowing audiences for three years, with the first season airing on CBS and now airing on The CW. Developed by Ali Adler, Greg Berlanti and Andrew Kreisberg, and based on the DC comics developed by Otto Binder and Al Plastino, these masterminds have kept the viewership coming back every week.
Heroine Kara Danvers, who is a cousin of Superman, starts a life on Earth when her space pod gets knocked off course.
In the early seasons, she was an intern-turned-reporter for CatCo and on the side worked for the DEO to help fight crime as Supergirl. In the current season, she works for the DEO full time helping fight crime and saving the world one episode at a time.
Each week brings a new villain, or a group of villains, in the ultimate battle of good versus evil.
This is not just a show about a superhero; the show also highlights the challenges of relationships with family and people who are like family.
