American Gods actress Yetide Badaki is campaigning to fund a short film she wrote through IndieGoGo.

The short, simply called Wonderland, will bring Alice, now called Zodwa, to the modern twisting and turning world of the film industry. According to Deadline, the film is Badaki's take on being an actress in Hollywood.

Badaki launched the campaign with her collaborators: actress Karen David, known for Once Upon a Time; actor Dom Burgess, known for The Magicians, with producer and actress Jessica Sherif serving as director, according to Syfy.

Badaki will star as Zodwa, an actress who works at a diner. When she is called in for an audition, the world starts to become a place where "where our rules don't seem to apply," according to the campaign page.

David will play a casting director looking for any excuse for heads to roll, while Burgess will play Donald Craps, a studio director who is a Caterpillar-like character.
