The Billboard Artist 100 list has revealed Shawn Mendes has the #1 album!
For the week of June 9, Shawn Mendes rose from number #8 to #1 on the Artist 100 chart in a matter of days.
Mendes' self-titled album is currently is on the top 5 in charts in the U.S., Canada, Australia, Spain, U.K. and many other countries.
The Artist 100 measures artist activity through metrics of music consumption, track sales, radio airplay, streaming and social media fan interaction to provide a weekly ranking of the artist's popularity.
Mendes' third album is his third #1 album. With this addition to his high-achieving album, he becomes the third youngest artist to have gotten three No. 1 albums, right after Justin Bieber and Miley Cyrus.
Also, "In My Blood" lept from #20 to #11 on the Billboard Hot 100. The single becomes Mendes' fifth top ten song on the Radio Songs chart after it went from #11 to #10.
