Travel can be made much easier with the right gear from Amazon
Stephanie Oswald has made a name for herself for her travelgirl.com as well as being a travel correspondent for CNN for 13 years. She knows her way around the complex world of travel and she gave us some great tips on how to use technology more effectively.
With so many vacation days being wasted in the United States, Stephanie has one emphatic plea: take the vacation but in order to do that some planning needs to happen first.
One stat that Stephanie provided was that women make 75 percent of all travel decisions.
Some of her tips include using Amazon's Alexa to become your virtual travel agent. You can ask her about the weather at your preferred destination, make car or hotel reservations and gives travel tips.
She went on to explain how the Echo Look can make packing a breeze for any fashionista.
And how using smart home features can help alleviate some of the stress that happens when we travel.
Also, if you are traveling with small children she advised travelers to check out the newest kid-friendly Kindles that are waterproof and preloaded with 15,000 age-appropriate books, videos, games and pre-vetted websites.
