The official Aquaman poster has been released, prior to the planned trailer release at San Diego's ComicCon later this weekend.
The poster features Jason Momoa's Arthur Curry front and center, wielding a trident, and surrounded by sharks, whales, and other aquatic life.
Aquaman follows Arthur Curry as he returns to Atlantis and battles his brother for the throne. This is evident in the film's tagline: Home is Calling.
According to Screenrant, Aquaman footage has been screened twice, at last year's San Diego ComicCon and at CinemaCon, but neither time has it been publicly released. Fans have therefore been waiting eagerly for a trailer.
Patrick Wilson, Willem Defoe, Amber Heard, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, and Nicole Kidman also star. According to IGN, director James Wan is mostly known for his horror work, such as Saw and The Conjuring.
