Fortnite has captivated gamers from all platforms for five seasons of uniquely catered themes centered on one of the most popular battle royale games in North America.
And on July 24, Fortnite will be celebrating its first birthday as a game.
To celebrate this milestone, Epic announced that they will be having a limited-time in-game event where gamers can earn special birthday cosmetics by completing the birthday challenges and the in-game missions.
The challenge will last from the 24th until August 7.
Each challenge completed will unlock a piece of the birthday cosmetic set, much like the Road Trip and Drift skins.
The challenges are as follows:
- Deal 1,000 damage to opponents to unlock the “Fortnite Birthday!” Emoticon
- Dance at different birthday cakes to unlock the “Happy Birthday” spray
- Play 14 matches to unlock 5,000 XP
- Complete all 3 challenges to unlock the Birthday Cake back bling
And if you have Save The World, you can complete the Birthday quest and unlock the Birthday Brigade Ramirez Hero.
