L.A. Designer and hack goddess Tracy Metro, has some great tips on little things that you can do that will help keep things clean and fresh, but where it all starts is with a bit of hard work.

First, you have to get your house clean in order to help keep it that way.

Surprisingly, a couple of her favorite cleaning supplies are a bottle of vinegar and a good sponge like the new, anti-bacterial and oh so cute, DishFish.

Other tips include changing out your faucets and kitchen cabinet knobs.

Also, instead of repainting the whole house, you can change out your door for a new one that gives you an instant update.
