Ewan McGregor has been cast to play the bad guy in the upcoming movie, Jane Got A Gun staring Natalie Portman and directed by Gavin O’Connor.
McGregor is set to play the pivotal role of the gang leader in Jane Got A Gun reported by a href= http://www.deadline.com/2013/05/ewan-mcgregor-loads-his-guns-to-take-over-villain-role-in-jane-got-a-gun/> Deadline. The film has had its fair share of problems with casting, Jude Law was originally supposed to play the lawbreaking villain but dropped out after the original director Lynne Ramsey, abruptly exited the day before production was set to start. According to a href= http://www.justjared.com/2013/05/10/natalie-portman-ewan-mcgregor-joins-jane-got-a-gun/#more-848298> JustJared the part was then given to Bradley Cooper, but he had to bow out as well due to his busy schedule. McGregor and Portman worked together years ago on the Star Wars series.
The film is about a wife of an outlaw who returns home after being shot up by members of his gang. Natalie Portman plays the part of the wife, who turns to an out love for help to protect her farm from the outlaws who come to finish off her husband. Noah Emmerich and Joel Edgerton also star in the film.
