Justin Bieber survived an onstage attack during his second performance in Dubai.
According to The National, Bieber was playing the piano during the closing set when he was attacked from behind by a young concertgoer in a white shirt and jeans. Security was quick to rush the attacker, but not before the unidentified teen pushed the piano off its hinges, causing it to slam into the ground which caused the instrument to be unplayable for the remainder of the show.
Bieber took a short break before returning to the stage and performing two additional songs.
Since the incident Bieber’s rep has reached out to E! News explaining, “All is fine. A man ran on stage during 'Believe' and tried to grab Justin and knocked the piano over. He was a fan. Security detained the young man. All was fine and Justin continued the show."
A concertgoer has since posted a short video to Vine which shows the fan attacking the 19-year-old singer.
