Lindsay Lohan’s attempt to enter rehab on Thursday didn’t go as planned, but she is now safe and sound at the Betty Ford Center in Rancho Mirage, California, according to reports. She has also gotten rid of New York attorney Mark Heller and re-hired Shawn Holley.

As we previously reported, Lohan did go to Morningside Recovery in California on Thursday, but didn’t check in. She had recently decided to do her 90-day rehab stint in New York, but decided to go back to California instead.

Both TMZ and People now report today that Lohan is at Betty Ford, checking in last night. She just barely got in before an arrest warrant would be issued.

Lohan has some familiarity with Betty Ford, having stayed there in 2010. She infamously got in a tussle with a staffer there who pressed charges, but decided to drop them.

TMZ reports that Lohan, 26, re-hired Holley to negotiate with the district attorney to get court approval to go to Betty Ford. The judge still has to sign-off on the Scary Movie 5 actress going there, but it looks like that will happen.

“She's looking forward to rehab,” a source told People. "Betty Ford was the best she's been in a long time. She was happy and healthy there.”

In addition to rehab, Lohan has to complete community service and psychotherapy sessions. She was originally sentenced to six months in jail in connection to misdemeanors for her car crash last year, but took the plea deal.
