Original judges Christina Aguilera and Cee Lo Green are in talks to return to NBC’s The Voice.

MTV reported Aguilera took hiatus from the fourth season of the singing competition show to promote her album Lotus. Green also skipped the fourth season to work on his Loberace Las Vegas show and other projects. Shakira and Usher replaced the two judges for the season.

The show took a dip in the ratings this season according to Hollywood Reporter. During the first hour of the show the ratings still beat American Idol head-on and Shakira and Usher received a number of overwhelming positive reactions. Aguilera is reported to have a 12 million payday if she returns for season five.

“Everybody can’t coach for life because when you have people with current recording in the game this is not their job. Their job is their fans and making music and being live, and so we knew from the beginning that this would happen, and we’ve had six coaches. They all have another life and their schedules,” Mark Burnett—producer of the show said to Hollywood Deadline.

Season four will wrap up on June 18. Adam Levine and Black Shelton are returning for season five. The show will keep its two-hour time on Mondays; however, Tuesday’s one-hour time has been shifted to 9 pm. The 2013-2014 schedule will be released on Sunday.
