While the long-awaited third film in the Bridget Jones series is not going to happen any time soon, fans of Helen Fielding’s novels can catch up on the character’s adventures in a third novel. The book, which was announced back in February, has finally landed a title.

The third book will be titled Bridget Jones: Mad About The Boy and finds an older Bridget living in London and now addicted to social media and texting, reports Entertainment Weekly. While publisher Knopf didn’t say who the boy in the title is, it did release a really short excerpt, which shows that Bridget learns the hard way that texting while drunk is not a good idea.

According to The New York Daily News, Knopf plans on publishing 250,000 copies for the first edition. It will be released on Oct. 15.

This is the first book in the series since 1999’s Bridget Jones: The Edge of Reason. The first book, Bridget Jones' Diary, was released in 1996. They have sold a combined 15 million copies.

Renée Zellweger played Bridget in the 2001 and 2004 films, which adapted the two novels. Hugh Grant and Colin Firth co-starred in both. A third film, titled Bridget Jones’ Baby, has been in the works for years, but it has been delayed indefinitely.
