A Rocket To The Moon has announced that their final show will take place August 31 in Boston, Mass. at the Sinclair.

“A Rocket To The Moon will be performing one last time August 31 @ the Sinclair in Boston, MA. More info to come,” the band said in a statement on Twitter.

A Rocket To The Moon is currently on the 8123 tour with The Maine, so there is still a chance to catch them live.

The band officially announced their break up six weeks after their second album on Fueled By Ramen was released. Annoyed with the music industry, the band discussed this huge decision over a couple of months. Even though they have chosen to break up, they still remain best friends.

A Rocket To The Moon is still working through contract issues with their label.

“We ask that you come see us this summer, share some stories, laugh, sing and cry with us,” A Rocket To The Moon said to their fans in their official break up statement on Facebook. “For every ticket stub you've collected, record you purchased or T-shirt you picked up at a show, just know it has not gone unnoticed.”
