The Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences has invited 276 more members to the exclusive club of film artists who get to vote on who wins the Oscars every year.

AMPAS released the full list of artists today, saying that these new members represent the best in their fields. “These individuals are among the best filmmakers working in the industry today," Academy President Hawk Koch said in a statement. “Their talent and creativity have captured the imagination of audiences worldwide, and I am proud to welcome each of them to the Academy.”

As The Wall Street Journal notes, the group is much more diverse and younger. The actors invited include Jennifer Lopez, Machete’s Danny Trejo, Lucy Liu, Rebecca Hall and Sandra Oh. Jason Schwartzman and Jason Bateman were also invited. Emmanuelle Riva, the 86-year-old star of Amour, was also invited.

The group of directors focuses on the men and women who are helming today’s biggest hits. Twilight vet Catherine Hardwicke and Bridesmaids’ Paul Feig join Hangover’s Todd Phillips and Shame’s Steve McQueen.

The invitees are also executives, animation directors, writers, from public relations, producers, musicians (yes, Prince can finally join AMPAS), visual effects artists and editors.

These artists will get to vote on who gets nominated in their fields and can attend an invitation-only dinner in September.

The 2014 Oscars ceremony will be held on March 2, 2014. Nominees are announced on Jan. 8, 2014.
