After revealing a spiffy new OS titled OS X Maverick, Phil Schiller took the stage to speak about the Mac hardware, starting off with the new and improved Macbook Air.

According to Gizmodo, the new MacBook Air claims an all-day battery life with improved CPUs and 40 percent faster graphics.

Mashablereports that the 11inch MacBook Air, starting at $999, will ship today.

Next, the Mac Pro was revealed, boasting the fastest ECC memory, Thunderbolt 2, 60 GB per second bandwidth and a fancy design with…what’s that? A handle on the top?

“Can’t innovate any more, my ass,” said Schiller on the new Mac Pro. “This is a machine unlike anything we have ever made before.”

The Mac Pro doesn’t have an exact release date, but it’ll supposedly release sometime later this year.

Shifting from hardware to software, Tim Cook came back on stage to speak of the new iCloud which is highly integrated with iWork. Gizmodo said “iCloud for iWork” is basically like Google Docs.
