Mumford & Sons’ bassist Ted Dwane was released from the hospital and is thanking fans for all their support.

Dwane went into surgery to remove a blood clot on his brain. A photo was posted on the band’s website of Dwane with a shaved head. Dwane wrote, “Bear with a sore head! Thanks so much for all the well wishing, it seems to be working! I’m home.”

Rolling Stone reports the band announced they had to cancel their set at the Telluride Festival, Kansas’ Cricket Wireless Amphitheater and Bonnaroo, where Jack Johnson filled in. Johnson wrote a song dedicated to Mumford & Sons to play at the event.

The band showed their sense of humor when they posted, “[Ted] has been nothing short of heroic in how he has handled the whole ordeal, and now it has been medically proven that he does indeed have a brain,” on their Facebook.

The band is still scheduled to perform at Glastonbury alongside the Rolling Stones and Arctic Monkey later this month.
