Ringo Starr is doing plenty of new interviews this week, since his photo-book of previously unseen Beatles photographs is now available as an ebook. The drummer has nothing but good things to say about his years with the group and even thinks that if they were still alive, a reunion would happen.

The book Photograph was announced late last month and is going to be available online tomorrow. Starr took hundreds of pictures with Paul McCartney, John Lennon and George Harrison, all of which have never been seen before by the public. In addition to the book, the Grammy Museum in Los Angeles is hosting an exhibition.

“We lived from gig to car to hotel room,” Starr told The Today Show about the Beatles’ first tour of the U.S. “When we got to New York — when we got to America — it was, like, too big, because all the music we loved came from America. It was like a dream come true.”

When Today asked if he wishes he was still a member of the Beatles, Starr replied, “Oh yeah, oh any day. It was the best band.”

He also spoke with The Mirror, noting that if Harrison and Lennon were still alive, he thinks they’d get back together.

“It’s a crazy question,” he said at first, but later said, “But... I’d like to think, yes, we would. Paul still goes out with his band, I go out with mine and John would probably have been going out with his.”

He added, “George was not big on touring so I’m not sure about him. But who knows... it could have come together.”

Photograph, named after Starr’s 1973 hit of the same name, is also going to be published as a limited edition book signed by Starr in December.
