A new poster for the Sandra Bullock-Melissa McCarthy police comedy The Heat is being slammed by critics for its obvious use of photoshop on the plus-sized hilarious actress.

The photoshopping came under fire after the UK revealed a slimmed down McCarthy in its newest promo poster for the film, The Hollywood Reporter reveals.

British Blogger The Shiznit writes, “Nobody is unclear [about] what Melissa McCarthy's body size is -- she's plus-sized and proud. So why have the designers of this poster done their utmost to Photoshop a good 30 lbs off of McCarthy's face?”

In the newest posters it is clear that McCarthy’s face and neck have been noticeably slimmed down, knocking off a reported 30 pounds, THR notes.
Additionally, this is not the first time McCarthy has been photoshopped to look thinner, she was previously seen in a promo for Bridesmaids looking noticeably thinner in the face and neck area.

The Paul Feig directed comedy centers on Bulllock, a by the book FBI agent, who is paired up with Boston cop McCarthy in order to take down a wanted drug lord.

What do you think of the obvious use of photoshop? The Heat hits theaters June 28.
