Ordinary Girl is the debut album from bubbly electric pop starlet Kady Z.
Ordinary Girl has twelve fresh pop dance songs that follows her EP One Million Pieces . Four of the songs that were featured in the One Million Pieces are in the full-length album.
About the album Kady Z said on her website Kady Z Music, “There’s no such thing as ‘ordinary’. Everyone has their own version ordinary and that’s what makes life and love extraordinary. I have always wanted to create music that not only makes you smile, but makes you want to dance your heart out.”
The fresh singer songwriter has gained inspiration from electro-pop artist Roby and icon Gwen Stefani. Kady Z said, “They are both so innovative and fresh, paying attention to every detail and aiming for perfection. I think that’s what makes someone great. They are about the music — the music is always first. And that is what separates them from the rest.”
Kady Z has meshed her inspirations in one with her vivacious girly sound in her album. The first single is “Crashing Down” which is a powerful song that tells her ex lover that he wont see her crying. It is a mainstream pop song that is relatable song with its catchy chorus that is about heartbreak.
A stand out song from the album is “Beautiful Disaster” which starts with a full swing of upbeat electronic sound. It’s a peppy pop song that will have you dancing along with the beat. It’s a girly song that talks about her and her lover as she compares them to a “Beautiful Disaster.” The song gained success as it was featured on MTV’s reality TV show Snooki & JWOWW.
Ordinary Girl is only the beginning to her music stardom. The twelve-track album is a consistent combination of upbeat glamorous pop dance and heartfelt electronica songs.
