Hillary Scott, a member of the country trio Lady Antebellum, and her drummer husband Chris Tyrrell welcomed a baby boy, announcing the news on the same day as the Duchess of Cambridge gave birth.
Scott used Twitter to break the news, writing “She's here, and we are in HEAVEN!!! Eisele Kaye, our beautiful angel, HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!” A rep for the singer also confirmed the news to Us Weekly.
Tyrrell and Scott married in a secret ceremony in January 2012. In December, she used Twitter to announce that the couple was expecting their first child. “Chris & I are excited to announce that our Christmas gift has arrived a little early this year! We are having a BABY! We feel so blessed,” the tweet read.
The singer continued to use social media to keep her fans up to date on her progress throughout the pregnancy. Just a few days before she gave birth, Scott posted a photo on Instagram of her dog and the baby bump. “Loving this sweet cuddle time with both my girls.#prego #babygirl #Baker,” she wrote.
She revealed to Us Weekly in March that she was having a girl.
Lady Antebellum released Golden in May. They do not have any concerts scheduled, so Scott will have plenty of time with the baby.
