Lady Gaga has taken over the top spot on Forbes’ Top Earning Celebrities Under 30 list, showing that even without releasing an album in the past 12 months, she is still a powerful star on the world stage. She beat out other singers, including Justin Bieber and Taylor Swift, who took the No. 2 and 3 slots.
Forbes says that Gaga made $80 million between June 2012 and June 2013. That’s without completing her Born This Way Ball world tour because of hip surgery and without releasing a new album since 2011’s Born This Way. The magazine estimates that the tour grossed $168 million through January and would have reached $200 million if she was able to finish.
The news comes as Gaga is slowly getting back into the public eye as she prepares for the release of ARTPOP in November. She just posed nude for V Magazine.
Bieber stayed at No. 2 for the second straight year. He is one of only three men in the Top 10 and made $58 million over the past 12 months. Swift, who topped the list last year, made $55 million, thanks mostly to the stunning success of Red. Her album sold 1.2 million copies in its first week in October. She’s also bringing in money from endorsement deals and is continuing her tour.
The rest of the list includes producer Calvin Harris ($46 million); Rihanna ($43 million); Katy Perry ($39 million); Oscar-winner Jennifer Lawrence ($26 million); Adele ($25 million); Kristen Stewart ($22 million) and Taylor Lautner ($22 million).
