It is unclear if SyFy realizes that the Twitterverse was making fun of B-movie Sharknado, and not praising it, but still the network has opted to bring the shark invested tornado film to 200 movie theaters in August.

Fox News reports that the Ian Ziering-Tara Reid starring film will hit theaters for one night only on August 2 at 200 participating Regal Theaters.

According to the official announcement, fans can relive the hilarity that is Sharknado for $12.50 at midnight showings from California, Wyoming, Nevada to Arkansas and Florida, Connecticut and Delaware.

“YOU'VE HEARD ALL THE BUZZ, READ ALL THE TWEETS. Just when you thought you'd escaped the #Sharknado, it's coming to the big screen for one night only at Select Regal, Edwards, and UA Cinemas!” the statement reads.

The made for TV movie bombed in ratings, but quickly became a Twitter sensation with over 600,000 mentions quickly prompting the network to decide that a sequel must be made.

Due to its success on Twitter, the network opted to ask Sharknado fans to name the sequel.
