One Direction wasn’t welcomed with applause when they received the award for Best Song of the Summer, but rather the British boy band was met with noticeable boos from the crowd. The boos rallied throughout Barclays Center, upsetting none other than Mother Monster.

One Directions “Best Song Ever” beat out the likes of Daft Punk’s “Get Lucky” and Robin Thicke’s “Blurred lines, Us Weekly reports.
According to the report, Gaga met the boys back stage and proclaimed, “"I want to leave right now, . . . I don't want to stay anymore because I don't want to be in a room where people are booing."

She added, "I just want to tell you that you deserve every bit of success that you have."

This isn’t the first negative report for the Moon man winners, as we previously reported, as One Direction took to the stage to present an award, Harry Styles’ ex-girlfriend Taylor Swift mouthed “Shut the f**k up” as they spoke.
