Taylor Swift surprised audience members on her Red tour with a special performance with Tegan and Sara as they sang their hit song, “Closer.”
According to USA Today, the special appearance came Tuesday evening at Los Angeles’ staple center. She spoke to the crows saying that she is bringing special guests onstage whose album she “really, really” loves. "If you've ever had your heart broken, you need to have their album," Swift insits.
She then hints at the audience saying she wants everyone to get a little “Closer.”
The Calgary sisters then appear on stage to many screams and cheers from the crowd. The Grammy award winning singer is seen dancing and singing along to the tune as the crowd rages on.
Following the energetic performance, Swift took to Twitter to rave about the guest appearance writing , “So.... @teganandsara just came out and surprised the crowd with 'Closer' and made an entire sold out Staples crowd DANCE. Unreal!!!”
